The celebration was filled with gratitude, reflection, and fellowship as President Licup expressed her sincere appreciation to the club’s Past Presidents, officers, Board of Directors, committee chairpersons, members, partners, and volunteers who stood beside her in advancing Zonta’s mission of building a better world for women and girls. As a token of her gratitude, special gifts were personally presented to those whose leadership and commitment contributed to the success of the club’s numerous advocacy and community service initiatives.

On May 8, 2026, the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal II, under the leadership of President Shirley Licup, proudly unveiled its Commemorative Partnership Marker at Mary Johnston Hospital in the presence of Dr. Glenn Paraso and hospital officials. The ceremony celebrated the meaningful partnership between the club and the hospital, recognizing their shared commitment to advancing women’s healthcare and expanding access to quality medical services for underserved communities.

Planting Hope, Protecting Shores: Zonta Greater Rizal 2 Leads Mangrove Restoration Initiative

On April 22, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a successful mangrove planting activity was conducted at Kawit Fishing Spot. The initiative resulted in the planting of 1,000 mangrove saplings, contributing to coastal protection, environmental restoration, and climate resilience. The activity was participated in by twelve (12) dedicated members of the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal 2, demonstrating their strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. This meaningful project was spearheaded by Club President Shirley Licup, whose leadership continues to inspire impactful initiatives aligned with sustainability and climate action.
