Project Description:

In the aftermath of Typhoon Kristine, which severely affected communities in Batangas and the Bicol region, our club extended support by participating in a relief goods distribution initiative in partnership with the Philippine Navy.

The club donated essential goods to be distributed to 150 families displaced or impacted by the typhoon. The Philippine Navy facilitated the logistics and delivery to remote and hard-to-reach areas. This collaboration emphasized the importance of multi-sectoral partnerships in responding effectively to natural disasters.

The initiative reflects Zonta’s ongoing commitment to supporting families in crisis, with a particular emphasis on uplifting women and children during times of vulnerability.
