Project Description:

As part of Zonta’s commitment to community well-being and equitable access to healthcare, the club partnered with the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) and the Bacoor Local Government Unit to provide free medical and dental services to underserved families in Bacoor, Cavite.

On October 27, 2024, over 500 individuals received basic medical consultations, prescribed medicines, and eyeglasses during the half-day mission. The activity aimed to ease the health burdens of low-income families by providing accessible and essential healthcare, especially for those with limited access to regular medical services.

By combining resources and expertise through inter-organizational collaboration, the project ensured that both preventive and immediate care were available—contributing to healthier families and stronger communities.

Zonta International Goals Addressed:

• Goal 1: Advancing women’s and family health – Access to basic healthcare supports women and families, especially in marginalized communities.

• Goal 2: Promoting equitable access to essential services – The mission helps reduce health disparities through outreach and free services.
