On April 22, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a successful mangrove planting activity was conducted at Kawit Fishing Spot. The initiative resulted in the planting of 1,000 mangrove saplings, contributing to coastal protection, environmental restoration, and climate resilience. The activity was participated in by twelve (12) dedicated members of the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal 2, demonstrating their strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. This meaningful project was spearheaded by Club President Shirley Licup, whose leadership continues to inspire impactful initiatives aligned with sustainability and climate action.

Led by President Shirley Licup, the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal II extended its support to Wipe Every Tear through a donation for its Scholarship Program and Christmas Gift-Giving Initiative. The club’s contribution aimed to provide educational opportunities and bring joy to women, children, and families supported by the organization, reflecting Zonta’s commitment to empowering lives through education, compassion, and hope. This meaningful outreach reaffirmed the club’s dedication to creating lasting impact by investing in brighter futures and sharing the true spirit of generosity during the Christmas season.
Led by President Shirley Licup, the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal II proudly supported the soft launch of KAALO, the inspiring dream project of club member Lin Tan, held on November 21. More than a culinary venture, KAALO is a social enterprise dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Filipino delicacies while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for community housewives. Through the production of classic Filipino breads and traditional sweets, the initiative empowers women with meaningful employment, entrepreneurship, and the opportunity to contribute to their families’ economic well-being.
