Planting Hope, Protecting Shores: Zonta Greater Rizal 2 Leads Mangrove Restoration Initiative

On April 22, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a successful mangrove planting activity was conducted at Kawit Fishing Spot. The initiative resulted in the planting of 1,000 mangrove saplings, contributing to coastal protection, environmental restoration, and climate resilience.

The activity was participated in by twelve (12) dedicated members of the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal 2, demonstrating their strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.

This meaningful project was spearheaded by Club President Shirley Licup, whose leadership continues to inspire impactful initiatives aligned with sustainability and climate action.
