Project Description:
In support of working women and their families, the club launched the “Gabay at Alalay sa Kinabukasan” initiative—an outreach project aimed at promoting early childhood development and safe community care for the children of employed mothers.
On September 12, 2024, the club donated educational toys and activity books to local childcare centers in Barangay Amihan, Quezon City. These centers serve as safe, nurturing spaces where children can stay while their mothers work, providing a much-needed support system for low-income working families.
The donations were selected to stimulate learning, creativity, and emotional development in young children, contributing to their growth and preparing them for school readiness.
This small but meaningful project reflects Zonta’s dedication to creating enabling environments for women to work and thrive, while also investing in the well-being and potential of the next generation.
