Unveiling of Zonta Club of Greater Rizal 2’s Marker at Wipe Every Tear

On May 8, 2026, the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal II, under the leadership of President Shirley Licup, marked another significant milestone by officially unveiling its commemorative partnership marker at the Wipe Every Tear, Inc. Headquarters. The unveiling ceremony was held in the presence of Executive Director Jorelli Torres, symbolizing the enduring collaboration between the two organizations in advancing the protection, healing, and empowerment of women and girls who have experienced exploitation, abuse, and vulnerability.

The commemorative marker stands as a lasting symbol of a partnership founded on compassion, service, and the belief that every woman deserves the opportunity to heal and thrive. Its inscription reads:

“This marker commemorates the partnership between the Zonta Club of Greater Rizal II and Wipe Every Tear, Inc. Guided by a shared belief in the holistic rescue and restoration of women, this collaboration supported healing, shelter, livelihood, and education—addressing the whole person and building brighter futures for women and girls who deserve a better world.”

The marker also honors the success of “A Better World with Zonta – The Concert,” held on March 20, 2026, an inspiring fundraising event that transformed music into meaningful action. Spearheaded by President Shirley Licup during the 2024–2026 Biennium, the concert generated support for programs that empower women through rehabilitation, education, livelihood, and holistic care.
