Project Description:

As part of the club’s initiative to empower graduating students through professional readiness, a Career Talk was organized featuring three distinguished women leaders in business and entrepreneurship. The talk aimed to inspire, educate, and empower young women and men as they prepare to enter the workforce.

Held in the afternoon of March 19, 2025, the session brought together 600 graduating students to hear from trailblazing women who shared their experiences, challenges, and advice on building a meaningful and resilient career:

  1. Ms. Grace Lee – President/CEO of Super People Philippines Ventures Corp., Glimmer Studio PH, and Tasty Stories, Inc.

  2. Ms. Mylene Abiva – CEO of Felta Multi-Media Inc., Presidential Appointee and Co-Chairperson of the Design Advisory Council, Department of Trade and Industry (2024–2027)

  3. Ms. Mariel Bitanga-Kintanar – Founder of Simply Finance, Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Paywatch, and a Registered Financial Planner

The event offered insightful perspectives on leadership, innovation, finance, and entrepreneurship, encouraging young women in particular to aim high, break barriers, and pursue career paths with purpose and confidence.

Zonta International Goals Addressed:

  • Goal 1: Empowering women through mentorship and leadership development – By featuring accomplished female speakers, the event promoted leadership and ambition among young women.

  • Goal 2: Economic empowerment through career readiness – The talk equipped graduates with knowledge, inspiration, and actionable guidance as they transition from school to professional life.

  • Goal 3: Elevating the role of women in public life and business – The project underscored Zonta’s advocacy for women’s visibility and leadership in key economic sectors.
