Project Title: Women Empowerment Through Awareness: A Talk on Violence Against Women and Children and Teenage Pregnancy Date: March 26, 2025 Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PMVenue: San Antonio National High School, Mayapis, Makati CityParticipants: 200 High School StudentsVolunteers: 13 Zontians and Supporters Project Description: In line with Zonta International’s mission to eliminate violence against women and girls and promote gender equality through education, the club organized a legal and educational forum for high school students of San Antonio National High School. Renowned women’s rights advocate and author Atty. Mildred Tria served as the resource speaker. She is the author of “Empowered: Understanding Women’s Rights and the Laws” and a distinguished speaker on women’s education at international forums, including the 3rd Faculty Development Program of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) in Bangkok. The talk, held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, tackled critical issues affecting young women today, including: Republic Act 10354 – Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012 Republic Act 9262 – Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 Republic Act 8353 – Expanded definition of Rape under the Anti-Rape Law Teenage Pregnancy and Legal Perspectives (G.R. No. 204819) Sexuality Education and Healthy Relationships Practical relationship advice aimed at self-awareness and protection The activity aimed to raise awareness among youth about their rights, reproductive health, and the laws protecting them against abuse, while also promoting responsible decision-making and personal empowerment. Also in attendance were the school’s head teachers: Ms. Rowena Bunagan Ms. Arlene Sarmiento Ms. A. Gayanilo Ms. Wilma Paz From Zonta, Area Director Rowena Plan joined the program to represent the club’s leadership and ongoing advocacy work. Zonta International Goals Addressed: Goal 1: Ending violence against women and girls – The talk directly addressed VAWC laws and protective measures. Goal 2: Empowering youth through education and awareness – Equipping students with legal knowledge fosters safer, more informed communities. Goal 3: Advocating for gender equality and reproductive rights – By discussing reproductive health laws and responsible parenthood, the activity empowered youth to make informed life choices.

Project Title: Women Empowerment Through Career Opportunities: Career Talk Date: March 19, 2025 Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PMVenue: University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Campus, Las Piñas CityParticipants: 600 Graduating StudentsVolunteers: 10 Zontians and Supporters Project Description: As part of the club’s initiative to empower graduating students through professional readiness, a Career Talk was organized featuring three distinguished women leaders in business and entrepreneurship. The talk aimed to inspire, educate, and empower young women and men as they prepare to enter the workforce. Held in the afternoon of March 19, 2025, the session brought together 600 graduating students to hear from trailblazing women who shared their experiences, challenges, and advice on building a meaningful and resilient career: Ms. Grace Lee – President/CEO of Super People Philippines Ventures Corp., Glimmer Studio PH, and Tasty Stories, Inc. Ms. Mylene Abiva – CEO of Felta Multi-Media Inc., Presidential Appointee and Co-Chairperson of the Design Advisory Council, Department of Trade and Industry (2024–2027) Ms. Mariel Bitanga-Kintanar – Founder of Simply Finance, Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Paywatch, and a Registered Financial Planner The event offered insightful perspectives on leadership, innovation, finance, and entrepreneurship, encouraging young women in particular to aim high, break barriers, and pursue career paths with purpose and confidence. Zonta International Goals Addressed: Goal 1: Empowering women through mentorship and leadership development – By featuring accomplished female speakers, the event promoted leadership and ambition among young women. Goal 2: Economic empowerment through career readiness – The talk equipped graduates with knowledge, inspiration, and actionable guidance as they transition from school to professional life. Goal 3: Elevating the role of women in public life and business – The project underscored Zonta’s advocacy for women’s visibility and leadership in key economic sectors.

Project Title: Women Empowerment Through Career Opportunities: Job Fair Date: March 19, 2025 Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMVenue: University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Campus, Las Piñas CityParticipants: 700 Graduating StudentsVolunteers: 2 Zontians Project Description: In support of Zonta International’s mission to empower women through education and economic opportunities, the club organized a full-day Job Fair for graduating students of the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between education and employment, especially for young women entering the workforce. The club collaborated with Kalibrr Job Search, a leading online recruitment platform, to invite a diverse lineup of 15 participating companies, including major employers such as Security Bank, Accenture, Healthy Options, Sunlife, and LBC. Notably, the fair also featured businesses owned by Zonta members themselves: Air Rich Industrial Systems Inc. (PE Lily Tan) BIG (Sis Betty Aw) Top Best (Dra. Lupe) With over 700 student participants, the Job Fair provided attendees with access to career guidance, job opportunities, and direct employer engagement, fostering confidence and readiness as they take the next step toward economic independence. Zonta International Goals Addressed: Goal 1: Economic empowerment of young women – The job fair helped graduating students, especially women, access meaningful career opportunities. Goal 2: Promoting women in the workforce – By facilitating employment linkages, the project supports women’s participation in the formal economy. Goal 3: Building partnerships for sustainable empowerment – The collaboration with Kalibrr and private companies reflects Zonta’s commitment to cross-sector partnerships that benefit young women.

Project Title: “WIPE EVERY TEAR” – Donation for Safe Shelter Program Date: January 8, 2025 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PMVenue: Wipe Every Tear Headquarters, Fairview, Quezon CityParticipants: 15 Beneficiaries (Single Ladies and Mothers)Volunteers: 13 Zontians and Supporters Project Description: In continued partnership with Wipe Every Tear (WET)—a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and restoring the lives of women exploited in the sex trade—our club provided direct support to their Safe Shelter Program, which offers rescued women a secure, stable, and nurturing environment. On January 8, 2025, the club donated ₱20,000.00 to assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the shelter, such as daily meals, monthly groceries, and educational support. More than just a roof over their heads, the Safe Shelter serves as a haven where the women can heal, learn, and rebuild their lives away from the dangers of the red-light district. This marks the fifth project in our ongoing partnership with WET, reflecting Zonta’s sustained commitment to empowering vulnerable women through practical, long-term support. Zonta International Goals Addressed: Goal 1: Ending violence against women and girls – Supporting the Safe Shelter directly contributes to protecting survivors from further harm. Goal 2: Providing safe and inclusive spaces – The project promotes a secure environment where women can recover and pursue education and personal development. Goal 3: Advocating for women’s rights and dignity – The donation underscores the club’s role in uplifting women and promoting their right to live in safety and dignity.
